Welcome to February! AmericanHeart Month! We are greeted by a (welcoming?) clipperthis morning giving us the first chance at some snow. So look for snow lingering into the am switching to a mix in the pm from a large/intense storm system. Accumulations are "only" 2-5snow inches total...so we can just add that onto the record books, but regardless...things are going to get pretty messy. Dress strictly for comfort today!
Wednesday is still looking like a wintrymix all day and switching over to maybe rain by nighttime, but def ending with some snow...how festive February!?
Okay, back to the drawing board. I thought I'd update because of the crazy winterweather we've been having! And itkeeps coming too! Look cute today, because Tuesday and Wednesday are looking like sweats and hoodie kinda weather, I know I'm not looking forward to it either...although lounging in sweats all day doesn't sound too bad. Models, once again, are continuing to change every update. But they all show the same general scenario: 1st...Monday night will bring snow 2nd...Tuesday brings more snow 3rd...Tuesday night is a mix of ice/snow 4th...Wednesday freezing rainthen somesnowor rain depending on the temps. This winter has been crazy..but the official ending notice will be on Wednesday...groundhog day (LOL) Hopefully he can put an end to all this... ...but models are showing more winterweather!!! Seeing all the new spring styles is killing me...can't wear them YET, I need to go buy more winter clothes (thumbs down) Look back to get through Tuesday without any weather fashion malfunctions. (fingers crossed for closings!)
Well, well, well the day has come! The day before the first day of spring semester. Look out for some winter weather late tonight...icy conditions for tomorrow, but switching over to rain!
Okay, so today there is a slight chance for a flurry or two and it will be pretty windy. So its not looking like today is the prettiest day...tomorrow will be though! Lots of sun...then comes the ice! JUST IN TIME FOR CLASSES TO START :) Do I think canceled classes?!?
TGIF! I can't believe its Friday either! This week went by so quick! Here's a nice outfit to end the week on a "bam" LOL And also the snowchance also comes in tomorrow...
I know what you're thinking..."A dress? In the wind?" Yes you can still wear a dress when it's windy out - make sure it is a heavy duty fabric and not so flowy, this way the dress will stay put and looking fabulous:) Also notice the background change!! Its purple...which means down into the teens tonight! Watch out for any black ice! Sorry, but the cold looks like it stays around for a while too.
So the snowcame and went. Now we are left with about a foot of snow to dig out. If you can't get out here's the perfect outfit...comfy, but if you need to go out, you're ready to go. Of course we will have the winds with us today, and temps do begin to fall as the week goes on.
Hey its1-11-11! No heavy snow for your day today, but be on the look out for some flurries in the late afternoon. The bigger chance is by 8tonight. So dress prepared in anticipation of the snowstorm.
Mostly sunny today...and then its all changing tomorrow. Clouds will be added tomorrow to our perfect sunshine day today. And then the snowcomes in, heavy, tomorrow night....as of right now we're getting 6-8 inches. So not as bad as the blizzardof2010, and last weeks, but enough for a snow day?!? Of course...wear cute shoes today that would absolutely not work in the snow. :)
It's a windy one today!! No snowis in the forecast today..but Tuesday will begin to track it. And yes those are UGGS - they are super comfy!! On a cold, dry day these boots are sure to keep you warm!! I am a big fan of my uggs!
Now that there is a coating of snowon the ground...time to wear the boots. There is a chance we could get some flurries after lunch time today, but no real accumulation for us in Union, NJ...looks like SoJo (South Jersey) will get about 5 inches. But for us the low pressure is exiting so the pressure will be on the rise today with cold temps.
Snow day! All most all schools have off today because of the accumaluting snow...expect only 2-4 inches total from this storm...however it is Tuesday night into Wednesday when the next significant snow comes. For now...just try to stay warm & cozy on your snow day!
We are calm before this snow storm blows on through. Not as significant as the last storm we had...accumulations are any where from none to 3-5 to 7 inches for the state of New Jersey. However, Union will get hit the hardest again, still not as much..but at least 5-7 inches for you there. But TODAY...rock your cute shoes before it's coatedand boots become mandatory.
Today is going to be pretty calm. Not much going on weatherwise...just a weak little front passes during the overnight hours giving a few flurries. But other than that temperatures still cool and expect a sunand cloud mix.
It's back to the work week...and temperatures are cold today! Makes you want to stay under your covers a little long than normal :( too bad we can't. Don't let the sunfool you, dress warm with sunglasses. High pressure dominates now, as a weak trough (wave of low pressure) passes tomorrow giving more clouds. So have fun with the sun today. I'm gonna say it nowww...possible storm by the end of the week.... Let's see how the models hold up its only Monday!!
Technically today starts the first day fornewyears resolutions...since yesterday was spent partying. The top 10 resolutions are as followed: 1. Spend more time w/family and friends 2. Exercise 3. Lose weight 4. Quit smoking (or DIP...gross!) 5. Enjoy life 6. Quit drinking 7. Get out of debt 8. Learn something new 9. Helpothers 10. Get organized What is yours?!? I won't share mine...but if it were "10. get organized, I would fail already because I don't have an agenda book for 2011!! Going nuts w/o it! Today's weather is pretty calm, just watch out for a spot shower or two. We need to put up with these clouds for our sunny, but cooler day tomorrow...so enjoy the heat (relatively speaking) and START your newyears resolutions :)
Happynewyears! Start the year off right with a some spiritual help (the bracelets have cute little quotes on them :)) Also throw in a tote umbrella to your bag because the rain will be pushing across and adding clouds to our sunshinewe had waking up! Have fun on your first day of 2011!
