Friday Dec. 31st
Happy new years eve! Today's look is your going out style...a simple lbd. Of course I choose a similar outfit that Kristin Cavallari would wear :) Forecast for today is perfect! High temp mid to even upper 40s and a low dropping to ONLY 33 degrees! So with that high, low temp...look for fog on your drive home after the ball drops. However, watch out for the approaching cold front to knock these temps down, but enjoy for now!

Thursday Dec. 30th
Its a heat wave! Should have a string of 40 degree weather 4 days in row! But at the end of this mini warm up...the rain chance comes into our pretty picture! With all this white snow and SUN it makes seeing outside or driving difficult so sunglasses are a must...for the next couple of days :) P.S - new clothing & accessories are out for the new years! Go check them out!

Wednesday Dec. 29th
Yes, it's cold today...but winds are not really the factor, its the Northwestern flow that is with us, AND we also have the sun working with us too. (Black ice is going to be a major problem tonight - please take care) Here's a little fun fact...I SHOULD be in Florida this week, however last year when I went down (same as this week) I was freezing! So I didn't want to take any chances, even though La Nina is heating the South up. Another interesting side note, the last time La Nina was in effect, we had a snow storm and then had warming temperatures - COULD THAT HAPPEN AGAIN. Now back to the story about Florida...yesterday they set a record for low temp of 35 breaking 36. And tomorrow forecasted high is near 80. YUP, they'll be wearing winter coats and bathingsuits all in the same week! LOL. And guess when I would have arrived in FL....tomorrow! Not COOL...its actually pretty HOT ;) & :(

Tuesday Dec. 28th
The "snowicane" is now out to sea up North...but still generating some powerful winds, but not AS strong as the past couple days. After all is said and done snowfall total in Union, NJ was 27 inches. So today watch for any blowing snow and black ice as the roads are probably more drivable...especially those going out to buy a new years outfit :)

Sunday Dec. 26th
Blizzard Warning is placed in effect today. We are watching this storm move up the Eastern Seaboard, as it seriously coats the Southern Coastal States. We should expect snow around noon, and the high winds leading to the blizzard of 2010 will be around early evening. Get ready!!! (P.S...i got those boots for Christmas - how cute?!?)

Saturday Dec. 25th
Merry Christmas! And as your gift...the winds are light! There will be no white christmas this year..but look for a flurry heading home at night and on Sunday. Make sure you wear something comfy so you can make room for all the delicious foods, cookies and egg nog! (p.s I found egg nog creamer...its a healthIER alternative) Enjoy!

Friday Dec. 24th
Merry Chirstmas Eve! If you're going to a party in the evening, wear a statement necklace and everyone will be looking! Its going to be windy, so do a hair style that can withstand the wind, unless you can get door to door service. No snow yet...but flurries are in the foreseeable future! Enjoy your night!

Thursday Dec. 23rd
Notice the change in background color??? That's the shade for the 40s! Yeah we'll hit 40, but with these winds, it definitely will not be feeling like a warm up. Normally right before a cold front (precip maker) passes through its usually the warmest...which could hint at snow for Christmas later in the day, but if this low pressure stays put up to our Northeast, it could spin the front south, and we'll be left this nothing, maybe a flake or two. I think in this case...we want the low pressure to go away since it is the culprit for these WINDS! Its like a little gnat, just sitting there. And PLUS we want our WHITE Christmas.
